The T100 n°1 is the first of the series of 4 T100 trucks built by Berliet.
It was built in 1957 at the Lyon Monplaisir factory, and was then used for advertising purposes at various exhibitions (Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva, Casablanca, Helsinki, Frankfurt). In the same year, the T100 n°1 was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Art et de l'Industrie Automobile Français. It is only in 1960 that it would join the T100 n°2 in Algeria where it would be used in the oil exploitation from 1962. The truck is still in Algeria.
