The Hiace Super GL is a trim of the fifth-generation H200-series Hiace, which Toyota launched in August 2004 and kept in production until 2019, when the H300 replaced it. The H200 uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and was offered with a choice of 2.0-litre 1TR-FE or 2.7-litre 2TR-FE petrol four-cylinders, or 2.5-litre 2KD-FTV, 3.0-litre 1KD-FTV and 3.0-litre 5L-E turbodiesels, paired with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox. One of Toyota’s best-selling commercial vehicles, the Hiace has long been a fixture on the roads of Japan and across Southeast Asia.
