Speedster is a legendary name in Porsche history. It appeared for the first time in September 1954 with the 356, and designated a two-seater configuration already tested with the 356 America Roadster of 1952. Built by Reutter, the first version of the 356 Speedster was produced in 1900 copies. The Speedster configuration was retained, with Coupes and Cabriolets, also with the 356A series, including Carrera versions.
