Subsequently, Mellberg was slightly ahead of the times in designing such an enormous vehicle for the masses. Were it to have been presented perhaps a decade later, the 906 Turbo concept may have had a shot at production. As shown in the above photo, it retained many normal characteristics of a regular sized car. The front end was textbook Saab albeit a few custom changes. Mellberg did not want to disappoint, and the car was equipped with a video screen, refrigerator, freezer, and heating cabinets, as well as a police radio and radar detector.
