The 1932 Maybach Zeppelin was a luxury car model produced by the Maybach company from 1929 to 1939. The car was named after the company's production of Zeppelin engines during and before World War I. The 1932 model was an upgraded version of the Maybach "12", with changes to the bodywork, dashboard, and engine. The car weighed around 6,600 lbs, which was so heavy that German drivers needed a special license to drive it. Only 100 examples were built, in 57 S and 62 S long-wheelbase versions.
