The Nissan Jikoo is a concept car from the Japanese brand Nissan . The Jikoo was shown for the first time at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show . The car was made on the occasion of both the 70th anniversary of Nissan and the 400th anniversary of the city of Tokyo.
The Jikoo is a reference to one of the first models of Nissan, the Datsun Roadster from 1935. The roadster has a high nose which creates a luggage compartment above the engine. With its ebony interior and fan-shaped dashboard, the design must reflect the Japanese tradition. Nothing has been disclosed about the motorization of the Jikoo.
