Very happy that I have A .LA fire truck now and also I chose the one that didn't come with a Station number I growed up watching squad 51 For such a long time I had the paramedic truck but now I have the engine to go with it very cool
After a long delay, I’m very happy to add Iconic Replicas’ KME Predator Fire Engine replica to my collection, it was well worth the wait. The model comes in an acrylic hard clear plastic display case, and removing the screws from the base reminded me of the old days when receiving new Code 3 models. I purchased the blank version which includes two sets of different waterslide decals so you can number the vehicle as you wish. A plastic antenna comes separate in a small plastic bag, a nice touch.
I think they did a good job on the scale, it fits in well with past Code 3 models. The model is all metal with the exception of the black plastic base. The AC units, light bars, hose reels, monitor, and front tow hooks are all nicely modeled. I like the metal steps extending from the chassis, and the various tools located around the rig are accurately done. The silver accents for the hinges really pop out. This model rolls very well, a sign of a quality piece—it has a nice weight to it as well.
Overall, I’ve very impressed and applaud Iconic Replicas for taking the chance to create this release. I give it 9 out of 10 stars, hoping for more releases in the future.
Phenomenal! Outstanding! The intricate detail is amazing. Fun stuff, for sure.
