At the Ferihegy airport in Hungary, Malév transported passengers between the terminals and the airplanes with several buses, and from the beginning of the 1980s, Ikarus 280s were also purchased for this purpose. The buses had accordion doors and manual gearboxes. It is interesting to mention that the masking of the pattern used for the painting was carried out by the graphic artist László Kovács, who also assisted with the buses of the time.
